Hello Elevate Remix Families and students who are signed up for Serve the Shore, 

I wanted to give you a quick update on Serve the Shore. We have been watching the weather and the heat very closely, and we want to make sure that you students stay safe in this heat. 

Please make sure that your students are wearing appropriate clothing for the day of service, also please make sure that your students bring a refillable water bottle. 

We will also be providing lunch for your students on Thursday and Friday.

• Thursday 

◦ We will be meeting here at LNC at 9:00 AM to go over to Love INC., where we will be serving the majority of the time indoors, except for one small project. Once we are finished at Love INC. around 2:00 pm, we will be coming back to the church to get changed and ready to go to Jelly ball. Here is the address for Precision Paintball if you need to pick up your student early: 18181 Asketum Branch Rd, Georgetown, DE 19947. We should be finishing up Jelly ball around 4:00 PM, which should push back at the church at 4:30 pm for pick up.

◦ Please make sure that you have filled out the release form for Precision Paintball.

• Friday (Here is the update for all of you, they will only be 1/2 day of service because of the heat)

◦ We will be meeting here at LNC at 9:00 AM to spread mulch at St. John’s preschool and kindergarten. Here is the Address: 300 N Pine St, Seaford, DE  19973. Once we have finished spreading mulch will be coming back to the church to eat lunch. Lunch on Friday will be Chick-fil-A. Once lunch is over, Serve The Shore will be complete, and they can go home.  Our goal is to get the project done in the morning so that students will not be working in the afternoon heat.
