We would also like you, as parents, to be a part of this discussion because on Easter Sunday in our church service, we will have an opportunity for your student to be baptized in front of their church family if they have not already done so.
We will be in Matthew 3:13-17 this evening.
We will be outside playing kickball now that it is warm and we have enough light.
Please encourage your student to bring a Bible and a friend.

Small Group Questions:
Small Group Questions: Acts 10:9-47
Have you ever found yourself daydreaming when you’re hungry?
Have you ever heard somebody say that something is unclean in your life?
What does that usually mean?
Have you ever heard anybody in the Bible say something or someone is unclean?
What is Peter saying in verse 28, how does this understanding of what Peter is saying play in to the rest of the passage?
This weekend part of our NYC team and I will be heading to Utah to gather some of the final details of our trip that is currently being planned by the USA/Canada NYI NYC team. We are excited to learn what they have been working on this past year.
We have several updates to share with you all.
But here is what you need to knowing for NYC as of right now. (Please look through the list of information and date that are coming up for NYC26)
We are grateful to have secured flights—many districts were unable to do so and will be traveling by bus. However, we need your help:
All three flights include at least one stop (inbound, outbound, or both).
Two groups will depart from BWI; one will depart from DCA.
As parents could you please start discussing with your students about what it means to be in an airport. Such as things that are not appropriate to say and do inane airport, how to dress comfortably for travel and in addition to that could you please help your student understand that we will be crossing 2 time zones and all flight groups will have some layovers when we go to Utah so your students maybe extra tired when it comes to travel.
3. Open Student Slots / Waitlist
We currently have three open spots for male students due to withdrawals (male only because of room availability). If you know a male student who would like to attend, please contact me.
We will also begin a waitlist for:
Female students
Adult leaders (male and female)
4. Important Reminders
IDs: All adults and students 18+ must have a REAL ID for travel.
Medication: All medication must be in original, clearly labeled containers (name + dosage schedule). Medications will be turned into our MAD nurses, when we arrive in Utah. We are bringing two nurses on the trip with our group. Students will visit one of our MAD nurses for daily medication as well as for basic meds.
Travel Bags: Each traveler may bring one checked bag (under 45 lbs.) and one backpack.
5. Save the Date – NYC All Group Meeting
