Join us Wednesday night, September 2nd, for our Back to School Bash!!
This year, we will be playing water slide kickball on a massive tarp that will cover the entire field. We will also have a cookout directly after our water slide kickball game, followed by roasting some marshmallows over a fire.
Students, invite your friends and let’s have a blast before the school year starts back up!!
So, parents, be on the lookout for a supply list for what is needed for the summer kickoff party!!

As summer comes to a close, what better way to end then with a time of Worship on the beach! We will be leaving LNC by 4:00pm. We will have time to enjoy the beach before the message/worship. Please bring money for snacks if you would like. We will keep parents updated on return time.
As summer comes to a close, here is the updated Elevate schedule for the Fall.
Discipleship class starts back the first Sunday of September (6th)
Youth Group will continue to meet on Wednesdays
Spaghetti Wednesday is the last Wednesday of the month, depending upon events
Teen Camp is here! Please find all the details you will need below!
On Monday, August 3rd, we will be leaving LNC at 9:30 AM to head to Teen Camp. This means leaving the church at 9:30 AM. Please arrive no later than 9:15 AM to pack the trailer and figure out seating arrangements.
- IMPORTANT: Your students will need lunch money for the trip to Camp on the 3rd.
- We will be returning to LNC on August 7th- Be on the lookout for a return time once we depart the campground on the 7th.
We are looking forward to an awesome week at Teen Camp!
3. Here is the packing list for MAD Teen Camp

- Sleeping bag (Wherever you are staying, linens will not be provided)

- Personal Hygiene Products (body wash, shampoo, soap, DEODORANT!)
- Toiletry items (Toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, contacts, ESPECIALLY DEODORANT!!)

- Swimsuit (modest)
- Clothes for the week
- Rain jacket
- Umbrella
- Tennis Shoes
- Flip flops
- Camera
- Sunscreen
- Insect repellent
- Sunglasses
- Refillable Water Bottle (It will be HOT! Let’s stay hydrated!)
- Optional: Money for Snack Shack, Offering
- Your best attitude, an open heart, mind, and an expectation to meet God!!!
Reminder: Phones can be used on the ride but will need to be turned in to P. Caleb when we arrive at the campground.
Thursday: We will be serving at Love INC. and St. John’s Preschool in Seaford.
We will meet at LNC at 9:00 am on Thursday morning. We will meet the rest of the group for prayer at Seaford Naz; from there, we will head to Love INC. and St. John’s Preschool in Seaford. We are planning to serve till around 3:00 or 4:00 pm, depending on how long the projects take. (We will be in contact with all of you on our return time to LNC)
Lunch will be provided; we will be having Chick-fil-A for lunch on Thursday. Please make sure to bring your registration fee of $20 for the week.
Friday: We will be serving in Salisbury at Halo.
We will be meeting at LNC at 8:30 am to head down to Halo. Again, lunch will be provided. We are planning to serve until 3:00 or 4:00 pm, depending on how long the projects take. (We will be in contact with all of you on our return time to LNC)
Saturday: We will be going to the beach!
We will be going to OC, MD with the rest of the Churches from Serve the Shore and meeting up with other churches for the annual Beach Bash Event. We will be meeting at LNC at 8:30 am to depart at 8:45 am.
Please make sure your student has money for lunch and that they have all the things they would need for the beach. (Sunscreen, towel, and maybe a change of clothing, if needed.) From there, we will be going back to the River Church of the Nazarene to do an additional service project. We are planning on returning to LNC around 6:15 PM. (We will be in contact with all of you on our return time to LNC)

Tomorrow will be a regular Youth Group night in combination with our first day of Serve the Shore!
For those participating in Worship, practice for the evening will start at 6:00 pm.
Youth Group doors open at 6:30 pm, and we will be going until 8:30 pm.
Even if your student is not attending Serve the Shore 26 during the day, Thursday or Friday, they can still come to youth group!!

After several weeks off, youth group is back! Hope to see you 7-8:30 tonight, with doors opening at 6:30.
Also, Serve the Shore 2026 is next week. We kick off the event on Wednesday night (22nd) with normal youth group with some visitors! We are excited to partner with several churches this year. Thursday and Friday, we will be completing service projects in Seaford and Salisbury. The cost for the event is $20, which includes a T-shirt and lunch for Thursday & Friday. Saturday, we will be going to the beach (OC). Students will need to bring cash for lunch at the beach. Please register by clicking on the following link if your student will be participating.
