Good afternoon, Remix Parents and Students,
Here is a quick reminder of what will be happening in youth ministry this week. Tonight, Thursday, Nov. 6th, the doors will open at 6:30 PM, and Youth Group will take place from 7:00-8:30 PM.
This week in Remix, we will be in Acts, chapter 7. We will be focusing on Acts 7:17-60, and we will ask questions like, “How are we supposed to share the good news about Christ?”
- Please encourage your students to bring a friend and their Bible!
If your students are not able to make it to group this week, I would encourage you and your families to read chapter 7 of Acts for the week and talk through the questions below.
- Also, parents, check the Parents Facebook Group and please sign up to bring something for God’s Table on Nov. 21st.
Acts 7:37-60 Stephen’s Speech and his Forgiveness
1. Why do you think Stephen was going through the Leadership of Moses?
– Why did he highlight the false idol (calf) in vs. 39-42
2. Why do you think it was weird and or strange to believe God does not live in the house built by man?
3. Why did Stephen call them stiff-necked?
– What does that mean?
4. How can we avoid becoming stiff-necked?
5. How in the world does Stephen have the strength to forgive them while they are killing him?
6. How can we forgive the people in our life who have done us wrong?
7. How can we live out the example of forgiveness that Stephen is showing?
– What has or who has given Stephen the Power to forgive?
