The Barn Party will be happening rain or shine, see you all here at the Church Saturday evening at 6PM on Oct 14th.

Join us on Oct 25th for our Elevate Costume Contest and Pumpkin Carving Party. Come dressed in your best costume (Must be Elevate appropriate). Pumpkins will be provided. We will also have all sorts of food and prizes.

I am sorry about the late post and note to all of you. This week, we will be taking a break from the I Am Second series. We will be talking some time to pray for the students and their families in the recent car crash from the Delmar School District. This week will be more of a lowkey worship and prayer kind of night.

OH, happy fall friends, the Elevate Barn Party is right around the corner, and here is the information you need to know. This will be happening on Saturday, Oct. 14th from 6:30-8:30 PM. We will be meeting at the Church to head over at 6:00 PM, and we will be returning to the Church around 8:50 to 9:00 PM. You and your students can meet us there but if you do you need to be sure to provide your own transportation home.

The YES (Youth Equipped to Serve) Conference is almost here. If you are a junior or senior in high school, we want you to go to YES, to help you discern God’s call on your life!!

Christmas is right around the corner!! 

That means that we are starting to collect Operation Christmas Child supplies!! We are having a competition between the middle and high school students to see which Group can collect the most stuff for this project. The winning group will get their own Youth Event of their choosing. Attached is the approved packing list of Items. We will have designated bins for each group in the Elevate Room.

Good Afternoon Elevate Families, 

We are in the third week of our Elevate I Am Second series. This week’s video is about Jason Castro and his secret struggle with pornography. Jason, in this video, talks about his battle with pornography. He spoke about how it started small and grew into something that was in complete control of his life. Even to the point where he was not able to function without it. Jason also talks about the overwhelming cycle that this addiction was in his life. Later, Jason came to know the saving grace that is found in Christ by giving God everything in his life. Jason found hope and freedom through Christ and accountability with other believers who asked the tough questions.

Happy October! I hope that you are doing well. We have a lot going on here in Elevate but I wanted to take some time and Invite you and your students to LNC’s Spiritual Renewal Services this week this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at 6:30 pm and Sunday at 10:00 am. The Special Speaker is Pastor Freddy Wright from Living Word Nazarene Church in Houston, Texas. Please join us for as many services as possible.  

Don’t forget that this Wednesday, Sep. 27th, is See You at the Pole at your school. This is a time to pray before the school day starts for your schools and community with other believers from your school.
