We will be showing “Big Hero 6” after Elevate tomorrow (7/29) night.

Students who come dressed as a superhero will have a chance to win some sweet prizes.

Movie night will be over at 11pm.

District Teen Camp 2015 is less than a week away! It is going to be an incredible week of fun, worship, service, and spiritual growth. As camp approaches here are some last minute details for you to be aware of:

We will be meeting at the church at 7:00am on Monday, July 20th.
We will return at the church Friday, July 24th around 5pm.

Don’t forget to bring an old pair of jeans for the “Sole Hope” project. Remember, you will not be getting the jeans back. You can check out more about this awesome ministry here: solehope.org

Swimsuit Guidelines:
Girls: swimsuits must be a one-piece or a tankini that touches (doesn’t show midriff). You may also wear a t-shirt or tank top over a two-piece.
Guys: no speedos! that’s just gross.

If you haven’t turned in your forms or money to Pastor Derek you must do that before Sunday!

Week #1: The Mirror of Scripture (June 17)
This week we looked at James 1:22-25, and talked about how we are to use Scripture like a mirror in our lives.

Week #2: Our Reflection of Jesus (June 24)
This week we will look at II Corinthians 5:16-20 and Proverbs: 27:19, and discuss how as Christ Followers we are called to reflect Jesus with our lives.

Week #3: Let’s Reflect! (July 1)
This week we will take time to reflect on God’s Word, what we have talked about the past few weeks during this series, and our lives through different interactive experiences.

Elevate Student Ministry is having an End of School Bash this Friday from 6-10pm at the Donahoe’s home for students just coming out of 7th-12th grade. Parents are also invited to this event. We will be having a cookout with hamburgers and hotdogs. If you would like to help out and bring a side dish, a dessert, or drinks please let Pastor Derek know as soon as you can what you plan on bringing.
