Graduations are right around the corner, and that means that we here at Elevate want to celebrate these considerable accomplishments in the lives of your students.
We are excited to see what God is doing and what He continues to do in their lives. Graduation Sunday is happening on June 8th during the Sunday Service.
So if you have a student graduating high school or college this year, would you please fill out the Graduation Questionnaire on the church app.
The Graduation Questionnaire form can also be found on Elevateparents.org and the Parents Group on Facebook.
ALL Students who are going to Teen Camp this year from LNC will be getting a $100 scholarship towards their teen camp bill!
All you need to do is to sign up for Teen Camp on the district website, select pay by check and then let Pastor Caleb know that your student is planning on attending.
Your family will then need to pay the remaining balance to the Church.
– Please make the check payable to the Laurel Nazarene Church and in the memo have your students’ names listed out with the word Teen Camp 24.

Teen Camp information is out, and registration is open. Below you will find the link for the Mad NYI Website to register for Teen Camp. This year Teen Camp is being held at a new campground as well as a different week from years past.
The new campground is Bongiorno Camp and Conference Center in Carlisle, PA and the new date is August 4-8, 2025.
We have an Elevate Movie Night on March 28th at 6:00 PM at the Hollis’. Please RSVP if your student is planning on attending. We will have pizza for dinner. Students, bring your favorite snack to share!! This event is for students in 7th – 12th grade.

Our Elevate students will be attending the Ash Wednesday service this evening. Doors will open at 6:30 PM, and we will meet in the youth room before heading to the service.
Additionally, LNC invites you to join us tonight, March 5, at 7:00 PM as we prepare our hearts for the Lenten season by reflecting on our devotion to Christ.
I just wanted to take a few moments and make sure that you as parents know what the plan is for Winter Retreat 2025!!
Below you will see the travel plan and the packing list for Winter Retreat. Please make note of both lists as well as the expectations that we have for students going to WR25.
Also, we are doing something new this year. We will be collecting phones when we get to the Campground for Winter Retreat. You as parents should have all the numbers for the adults that are going on Winter Retreat, those numbers were in the general information sheet that was a part of the registration packet.

2025 Winter Retreat Travel Schedule:
FRIDAY:
4:00 Meet at LNC, eat pizza, and get trailer packed
4:45 (no later than 5:00) Depart LNC
7:30 Arrive at Black Rock and get unpacked and meet in the Worship area.
SUNDAY:
11:30 Pack up trailer
12:00 Group Picture and lunch
1:00 Depart Black Rock for LNC
3:30/4:00 Arrive at LNC and unpack trailer
We will keep you as parents and guardians up to date if there are any changes.
Packing List:
-good attitude & open heart
-sleeping bag or sheets
-pillow
-toiletries/bathroom supplies
-towel and washcloth
-clothes for the weekend (warm & comfortable)
-Bible
-water bottle
-flashlight
Everyone bring a snack to share!
What NOT to bring:
-bad attitude
-inappropriate clothing
-drugs (prescription medications are to be given to an adult leader to dispense)
-alcohol and/or tobacco products
-weapons of any kind
Expectations:
By going to this event, you agree to respect the adult leaders and your fellow students. You agree to follow the rules and instructions given by adult leaders. You will participate in all events and be at assigned meetings unless permitted by an adult leader to be absent.
If you fail to do so, the adult leaders reserve the right to call your parents, to send you home, and you will not be refunded the cost of this event.

Hello Elevate Parents, here is a quick reminder that this next upcoming Sunday, Feb 16th will be the next Elevate Parent Meeting. Students and Parents, please make sure to attend this next meeting.
There will be important information to come about the upcoming Winter Retreat that we will be having on February 21st – February 23rd.
There will also be more information shared with all of you as parents about what will be happening in the next few months of Youth Ministry here at LNC.
