Hey Elevate Families,

The Holiday Season is right around the corner! I want to highlight some dates happening at Elevate over the next few months.

One Important date is the Elevate Cookie Walk on December 15th. This is our annual fundraiser for Winter Retreat which is scheduled for Feb 21st – 23rd at Black Rock.

If your student is planning on attending Winter Retreat, they will need to participate in this fundraiser.

This Sunday is LNC’s annual community outreach “Fall Fest”. I want to invite students and families to this event. Come on out for a great time of fun, food, games and music.

Also we will have a dunk tank at the Elevate booth so come and see if you can dunk P. Caleb.

Just a quick reminder about the Barn Party tonight!! We are meeting at the Jesters at 6:30pm. You can find the address in the picture.

We are not meeting at the church tonight.

Hello, Elevate families. Here’s a quick update for all of you for the Elevate Barn Party at the Jester’s this Saturday at 6:30 PM.

We will all be meeting at the Jester’s at 6:30 PM. Come for food, fun and games. Please dress warm and let’s have some fun.

We will not be meeting at the church prior to the event. Everyone needs to come to the Jester’s.

Your students need to make sure that they are dressed appropriately for the weather. Also I would suggest that your students wear shoes that they do not mind getting dirty and that they have a flashlight for the games that we will be doing.

Friday night, Nov 8th, from 5:00 – 9:00 PM, we are having an Elevate Guys Video Game Night. This is for all Elevate Guys in Middle School and High School. It will be happening in the Elevate Room. 
Bring a snack to share and your favorite video game console. We will have several TVs that you all can hook up to but if you would like to bring you own monitor or tv you can.  

P. Caleb will also be ordering pizza for dinner, so please let him know if you will be attending.

We are in need of a few items so if you would like to sign up to bring those items. 

It would be fantastic, and I will update your names next to the item if you have signed up to bring them. 

– 1 bag of marshmallows

– 2 boxes of graham crackers

– 2 packages of Hershey’s candy bars.

Please do not feel pressured to bring any items due to the amount of items that we had for the chicken BBQ.

Good afternoon here is a quick reminder for everyone when it comes to the BBQ.

Please make sure to have all items for the Chicken BBQ that you have signed up to donate turned into Pastor Caleb on 10/2/24 before youth group. (That is tonight!)

All cookies for the bake sale can be brought the day of on Saturday.

All students who are working the Chicken BBQ need to be there at 9:30 AM on 10/5/24.

If your student cannot make it at that time, please contact Pastor Caleb.

Hey ya’ll don’t forget it is Spaghetti Wednesday before Elevate tonight at 6:00 pm. Invite a friend to dinner.

Elevate students and families don’t forget that tomorrow is “See You at the Pole” at your schools. Students all around will be meeting at the flag poles to pray for their schools and fellow students.

All the profits made by this event will go to the individuals and families that donate their time and the supplies needed. (The profits will be divided up on a percentage basis. The more time and supplies that students and family donate, the higher the percentage your student will receive.)

We need your help to make this happen, and here is how you can help!!

Please go to the Parents Facebook Group and sign up in this post’s comments to help support the BBQ and earn funds for your student’s Teen Account. 

Below is what we need for October 5th. Please pay attention to what has already been taken.

Please go to the Parents Facebook Group and let us know that you and or your student will be present or what you will be donating to the BBQ. That way, we can make sure your student gets money from the fundraiser.
(Some of these items can be donated in a particular amount due to the quantity.) 

(Please make sure to have all supplies into P. Caleb by Oct. 4 at the latest.)

Items needed for the BBQ: (Please Comment Below) 

• Snack Bags of Chips 300 (Lay’s Classic Potato Chips, 1 oz., 50 pk.)
• Large Cans of Baked Beans (6 cans of the 117oz from Sam’s)  
• Hawaiian Rolls (25 Packs of a dozen each)

 – 12 Different Students or families donate 3 dozen cookies to the Bake Sale: 

We also need manpower to make this event happen: (Please Comment Below)

We need students and parents to show up at 9:30 am to help set up.

• We need some parents and students to help Box the Food and Bag the Cookies for the Bake Sale.
• At 10:30 am, we will need individuals to help collect money and pass out the BBQ Dinners. 
• We also need a cleanup crew to help put the tables back and clean up the trash from the BBQ.
• Clean up crew for the kitchen where other food will be prepped.
