It’s already time to start thinking about the end of the summer…. Beach Bash this year is August 4-6 at The River Church of the Nazarene, and the whole weekend will cost $35 per student plus money for one additional meal at the beach on Saturday. On Friday, August 4th, we will meet at LNC at 3:45 PM to leave at 4:00, which will get us to The River at around 5:00, and we will return to LNC at 12:00 PM on Sunday, August 6th. Make sure to pack clothes for the beach, sunscreen, bug spray, and a sleeping bag since we will be camping out!

We do not have enough camping supplies, so we are asking that you would please let us know if you have sleeping tents or pop-up tents that you would be willing to let us borrow for Beach Bash.

Tonight’s weather is not looking great for a baseball game, so we are changing our plan!! We will be going bowling at Southbound Alley!! The total cost for everything tonight is $15, the only additional money that would be needed would be money for the Island Creamery. We are meeting here at the Church at 6:00 to leave at 6:15 PM.  We are planning to return to the Church around  8:45 to 9:00 PM.  
If you have already paid for the Game bring $2 per person plus your money for the Island Creamery. 

The baseball game has been rescheduled for July 19th. 

Attention students and parents of students going to NYC!!!

The District Meet Up Day is this Saturday at Grace Point Church of the Nazarene at 2:00 PM, and you must be in attendance. (Please let P. Caleb know if you will be attending by Wednesday June 21st.) We will meeting here at LNC at 10:45 AM to leave the church at 11:00 AM. You also, need to bring money for lunch. We will keep you as parents posted on our return time.

What’s up, Elevate!!

Instead of regular Elevate tomorrow (June 21), we will be attending a Delmarva Shorebirds game! We will meet at the church at 6:00 PM, and it will cost $13.00 (Cash to P.Caleb) for those who have not already paid. TODAY is the deadline to let Pastor Caleb know if you will be there.

Also, no large bags at the game and bring money for ballpark food but it is cashless.

REMINDER! Tonight in the Johnson Center at 7:00 PM we will be packing all the NYC Swag! We will have dinner provided tonight.

On June 15th at 7:00 PM we will be packing all of the NYC Swag for MAD in the Johnson Center here at the Church. All NYC participants and parents are invited as well s anyone else from Elevate. Dinner will be provided.

If you just graduated high school, this is for you! After Elevate on June 14, we will be traveling to Applebee’s in Seaford to celebrate you with half-priced apps! If you want to feel even more celebrated than you already are, you should be there!!

What’s up, Elevate! We have an important announcement for the Bring With Project. The team that gathers the most stuff will get three pies to throw in the faces of anyone at Elevate, including both leaders and students (as long as they allow it). The number of items will be tallied after Elevate on June 14th to determine whether the boys or girls won. Pies will be thrown at Elevate on June 28th. 

It is time for Baseball!! Wednesday June 21st we will be going to the Shorebirds! We will be meeting at the church at 6:00 PM to load up and go down to the ball field. The Sign-up sheet is down in the Underground, Tickets are $13.00 per person and all money needs to be turned in by June 18th.

Don’t forget to bring money for dinner, and remember the ball field is cashless.

For those of you who do not know me, my name is Andrew Workman, and I have the pleasure of being the youth intern here at LNC from now until August. I just finished my junior year at Lancaster Bible College, pursuing a degree in both Biblical Studies and Pastoral Ministry. I’m on the baseball team at school as a pitcher, and sports are one of the things I love the most. I have a deep admiration for God’s Word, and I absolutely love the art of biblical preaching. I have enjoyed my first couple of weeks here, and I’m looking forward to a summer filled with fun, learning, growth, and discipleship.
