Tonight, we will be talking about Saul and how Jesus confronted him for the way that he was persecuting the early Church and the followers of Jesus. We are also looking at the way that Saul turned his life around to follow Christ once he was stopped by Christ. Tonight we will be looking at Acts 9:1-19 as our man scripture passage for the evening. Below you will find the small group questions for this evening.

• How many of us like being told that we are wrong?
  • Or better yet how do you react when you are told that you are wrong?
• How often do you think that you know it all?
• How often do you think of yourself as the expert and you are proved wrong?
• Has someone ever called you out on your actions?
• How has God used the Holy Spirit and or other followers of Jesus to confront you about what you are doing?
• Have you ever changed directions in your life like Saul?
• How does pride get in the way of us being changed in our lives?
• How can you follow God this week and listen for his direction in your life?

By looking at the world’s fastest man and his simple obedience to God to go somewhere and to be ready to share with others about Christ. This is our first week back in the Book of Acts. Tonight we will be looking at Acts 8:26-40 as our man scripture passage for the evening. Below you will find the small group questions for this evening.

• Do you like to run?
• Have you ever heard the fastest man alive and the call that he was following?
• Why do you think it’s important for you to say yes to God’s call on your life to go do something?
• Do you think saying yes to God now will impact others and you?

• -How does that make you feel when you think about God calling you to something?
• How is God calling you today to follow him?

Also, students and parents of students who are going to NYC, your next payment is due January 15th. Be sure to talk to P. Caleb about what you have in your student account before your next payment. (Remember I am asking that all payments for NYC come through the Yotuh department, that way I can track who and how much each student has paid towards NYC26.)

Tonight, Remix is wrapping the Angel Tree Presents at Centenary! We will depart LNC at 7pm and we are going to Starbucks after. We will return to LNC at 8:30pm.

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! Youth Group is happening tomorrow night. To kick off the holiday season, we are packing gift bags for those in need and writing Christmas cards for those in our community while enjoying Christmas cookies. Hope to see you there!

Remix friends and families -The Cookie Walk is quickly approaching! This is the perfect way to get in the Holiday Spirit and eat some Christmas Cookies without spending hours in the kitchen! 

So invite your friends to come out, December 14th, following the Worship Service at 11:15 AM at the Laurel Nazarene Church. 

The students who participate on the 14th or donate cookies will receive money directly into their account. This money can be used for any future student event. (This is a great opportunity for NYC students to raise money towards the upcoming trip, as the next payment is quickly approaching. They will need to have a total of $1200 by January 15th.)

Please let us know what kinds of cookies you will be bringing. We are recommending 3-5 dozen cookies.
