There is still time to signup for Teen Camp 2022!!Just go to https://madnyi.com/teen-camp/ to register for camp. We are past the early bird rate, so the cost for camp is $295. But there is still some good news LNC is still offering a $125 scholarship for all students attending Teen Camp this year.
When registering your students for camp, you need to select pay by check to receive this scholarship. You will need to send me confirmation of registration for camp. This can be sent to me by email. After that, you will need to send in a check payable to Laurel Nazarene Church for the balance for Teen Camp.
Also, for those of you that have already registered for Teen Camp, we still need to get the remainder of your payment for Teen Camp!
Graduation Sunday is almost here, and if you have not contacted me with information about your Graduates, please reach out to me. We here at Elevate want to celebrate these considerable accomplishments in the lives of your students. We are excited to see what God is doing and what He continues to do in their lives. Graduation Sunday is next Sunday June 12th during the Sunday Service. So if you have a student graduating high school or college this year, would you please contact me by email so I can send you the Graduation Questionnaire form.
Elevate families, below you will find the link to download the permission slip form for all summer 2022 Elevate activities. This is the same document that was available at the Parent meeting last Sunday, May 29th. Just as a quick reminder, I need to have one for each of your students before going to any Elevate events off-campus for the church. This is just a safety measure that I feel is necessary. I am excited to be talking about Nazarene Youth Conference 2023 with all of you. This is an event that has changed so many lives and I am excited to have the opportunity to take your student to this event. Down below you will see a huge piece of information that needs to be taken care of ASAP, and that is the registration for this event.
This is for all students who will be in 8th – 12th Grade this coming Fall.
We will be talking more about this event as well as some of the fundraisers that we have planned for Elevate at the Parent Meeting on May 29th, 2022, here after the church after Sunday Service.
The official registration for Nazarene Youth Conference 2023 is now LIVE! Adult leaders and students can register using this same link, and students must have an adult or guardian register with them: https://nazareneyouthconference.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/1230376. There is NO initial deposit required to register. However, remember that the first payment deadline for both adults and teens is $500 by October 1st, 2022.
Checks can also be made payable to “MAD NYI” and mailed to 1624 Lynch Road, Baltimore, MD 21222.

If you as a family are making any additional payments directly to the District for NYC, I would appreciate if you could please let me know that way, we can have a running total for what has been paid for each student. That will help us keep track of what payment will be coming out of the Fundraising here at the Church. It has also been suggested to mail in payments together as a local church if possible. Our goal here at LNC is to help all students who would like to go, to have the opportunity to attend this event. So, if you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Everyone who has filled out an initial interest form in the months leading up to now, youth and adults, will also be receiving a follow-up email as promised with the same information and instructions. Also, there is additional information available on madnyi.com.
MAD Teen Camp will be happening July 25th-29th at Rhodes Grove Campground. I am excited that your students can have the full teen camp experience this year! I really would like to encourage your student to go to Teen Camp. It is an excellent way for your students to deepen their relationship with God and their friends in Youth Group. I want to take a few moments to introduce myself to all of you. My name is Pastor Caleb Lynch, and I am very excited to be the new youth pastor; I am excited to have the ability to serve the Elevate community and the Church as a whole here at LNC. Please don’t hesitate to reach out and connect with me; I am doing my best to get to know everyone and get things set up for the summer and the celebration for graduating high school seniors here at Elevate. I will also be using this site to keep all of you up to date on future events for Elevate.
Good evening Elevate parents! Pastor Caleb’s first Wednesday is approaching fast! There are a couple things we would like to have prepared before his arrival if you would like to help:
• We will need help cleaning the Russell House on Saturday, April 23rd from 9:00am – noon in preparation for Pastor Caleb’s arrival. He will be staying in the Russell House until the Light’s move out of the parsonage and into their new home.
• We will also be collecting cards, gifts, and gift cards for Pastor Caleb. Keep in mind that he is allergic to chocolate. There will be a basket in the foyer to collect these items. The gift basket will be presented to him on his first Sunday at LNC, May 1.
Hi Elevate parents, on April 6 we will be putting together crisis care kits at Elevate. Below is the list of items needed for each kit. Your students can bring the supplies this Wednesday and next Wednesday for the kits.
