Tomorrow night is our back-to-school bash! So meet us here at the Church tomorrow night at 6:30 pm. Bring your bathing suit, towel, chair, and an item from the list of things that are needed from the parents’ Facebook group.
Parents and Students, we also started our Remix Mum Sale 2025!!
Here is what you need to know.
You, as students and families, can actively sell mums through the church app; you just need to make sure that you and or your student is listed and the one being supported through the sale of the flowers.
Also, if people are buying them from you and or your student in cash, that money should be collected by you and turned into me before the flower pickup date. Please make sure that the money is counted and labeled with the individual’s name who purchased the flowers, and the student is listed, and the one being supported.
All proceeds will go to Remix students for various event costs such as Fall Retreat, NYC, Teen Camp, etc. The cost per mum is $7.50 with cash/check and $8 with a card. IF PAYING WITH CASH, USE THE CODE WORD “CASH” BY CLICKING THE APPLY DISCOUNT BUTTON. PLEASE TYPE CASH IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS.
If you are paying with cash, please submit your payment to P. Caleb or the Church office. Be sure to clearly label the payment with your name and the purpose of the funds.

On September 6th, the Remix Youth Group will be working at the Zoom Car Wash in Berlin, MD, from 1 PM to 4 PM. To make this successful, we need student (and adult) participation and food donations! Students will be offering to dry and vacuum vehicles while complimentary snacks and drinks are available.
See below the flyer with all info and food recommendations to bring. Please sign up for an item by typing it in the comments below or texting P. Caleb directly.
We will need to know the number of students and adults who will be participating. You will need to sign a waiver from Zoom Car Wash. Please download and turn in to P. Caleb as soon as possible.
For those participating, please arrive at the car wash by 12:30. If needed, we can discuss providing transportation to the car wash. So please be in contact with P. Caleb
Lastly, I will be posting this on the Church Facebook page, so like and share it with others on Facebook to spread the word!
Please fill out this questionnaire with your students to give us the information needed to make your students’ trading cards. This card will be sent with your student’s sponsor letter from the church for fundraising for Nazarene Youth Conference 2026.
Once your student has completed this information, the training card will be made, and you will receive the letters, envelopes, and the trading cards to be sent out. Each student will receive 25 letters, 25 cards, and 25 of two separate envelope sizes needed for this fundraiser.
P. Caleb will take the picture for your student’s card.
The only thing that you and your student will need to do is provide postage and address the letters, and maybe include a handwritten note to the recipient. All the money that is received through this fundraiser will go directly into your students’ teen account for NYC 26.
One important thing that needs to be noted is that these letters are to go to individuals outside of the Laurel Nazarene Church, please.

Big News!! Remix will be going to a Fall Retreat in November! This retreat will replace the winter retreat that we usually go to in January.
We are partnering with the Bel Air Church of the Nazarene
The dates of this retreat are Nov 7th – 9th at Camp Hebron in Halifax, PA.
Registration will take place using Bel Air’s Planning Center System. You can access registration using the link below or by visiting LNC church app, and you will need to go to the events page to find the link, which will direct you to Bel Air’s Planning Center. @everyone
Registration closes at midnight on Monday, October 20th. The cost is $175.

Do you have a firm foundation, and wondering what is next in your faith? No matter where you stand with God or where your faith is, seeds are being planted. And you are a seed planter too!
Fall Retreat season is here, and so we are packing up and heading to Camp Hebron for a weekend to get away, rest, and learn about PLANTING, putting God at the center, and always. There will be great music led by the Stars Burn Down band! Preaching from Pastor Jake (Immanuel) and throughout the weekend, there will be time for small groups, conversations, and living life in community.
Students and parents, the Fall Schedule is here for Remix, and we have several new things that are happening this Fall!!
First, youth ministry will be moving to Thursday, starting September 4th. The time will remain the same. The doors will open at 6:30, and Remix will be from 7:00- 8:30 PM.

Second, we are starting a discipleship class on Sunday Mornings from 9:00 – 9:45 AM starting September 7th in the Russel House.
Lastly, be on the lookout for our Fall Retreat Info and Registration. That will be coming out soon!

We want to kick off this school year right with a party! On our first Thursday night for Remix, we will be going swimming at the Laurion’s for our Remix Back to School Bash!
The travel plan: Meet at the church by 6:30 PM. We will be leaving to head to the Laurion’s at 6:50 PM. Our plan is to return to the Church by 8:30 PM. We will keep you, as parents, informed of our return time to the church if our plans change.

Good afternoon LNC Youth Families, Just a quick reminder about tomorrow’s parent meeting. The meeting will take place immediately after church, in the youth room. Please make time for you and your students to attend this meeting, as we will be reviewing our plan for youth ministry for the fall and providing any other updates, including fundraising opportunities that your students may be interested in participating in. Please try your best to be there.

First, the fundraiser is still happening tomorrow evening from 6:00 – 9:00 PM! However, the number of children who have signed up for childcare tomorrow night is low, unfortunately. With that being said, we will only need a few students to help due to the low numbers. P. Caleb will be in touch if your student is needed tomorrow night.
There will be more opportunities to raise money for NYC26!
