Don’t forget, we are meeting at the church at 3:45 tomorrow afternoon!
As a reminder- make sure to pack enough clothes for the whole weekend and the beach. Also bring a towel, sunscreen, bug spray, and sleeping bag and a pillow since we will be camping out. Make sure to bring money to pay for the Beach Bash if you have not paid online. Also, bring spending/lunch money for the beach trip Saturday.
This weekend is Beach Bash, and here is our travel plan and what you need to know!!

Elevate Remix will be going to the Beach Bash. June 20th – 22nd at the River Church of the Nazarene.
The address is 11004 Worcester Hwy, Berlin, MD 21811.
The entire weekend will cost $45 per student, plus the cost of one additional meal at the beach on Saturday. On Friday, June 20th, we will meet at LNC at 3:45 PM to leave at 4:00, which will get us to The River at around 5:00, and we will return to LNC at 12:00 PM on Sunday, June 22nd. Make sure to pack clothes for the beach, sunscreen, bug spray, and a sleeping bag since we will be camping out!
The cost for those staying overnight the whole weekend is $45.
The day trip on that Saturday, June 21st, is $25 per person.
Make sure to sign up on the church app or let P. Caleb, know if your student is planning on going.

Hello, Elevate Families!!
I am excited to be talking about Nazarene Youth Conference 2026 with all of you. This is an event that has changed so many lives, and I am excited to have the opportunity to take your student to this event. Down below, you will see a huge piece of information that needs to be taken care of ASAP, and that is the registration for this event.
This is for all students who will be in 8th – 12th Grade this coming Fall.
We will be talking more about this event, as well as some of the fundraisers that we are starting to plan have for Remix students at the next Parent Meeting that is scheduled for June 15th, 2025, here at the church after Sunday Service.
The official registration for Nazarene Youth Conference 2023 is now LIVE! Adult leaders and students can register using this same link, and students must have an adult or guardian register with them: https://nazareneyouthconference.churchcenter.com/registrations/signups/2665165. There is NO initial deposit required to register. However, remember that the first payment deadline for both adults and teens is $600 by October 1st, 2025.
Payments CANNOT be made on the Planning Center registration link. Instead, you can make payments at: https://www.cognitoforms.com/MidAtlanticDistrictChurchOfTheNazarene1/MADNYC2026PaymentPortal (surcharge added for credit card processing)
OR
Checks can also be made payable to “MAD NYI” and mailed to 1624 Lynch Road, Baltimore, MD 21222.

If you, as a family are making any additional payments directly to the District for NYC, I would appreciate if you could please let me know that way, we can have a running total for what has been paid for each student. That will help us keep track of what payment will be coming out of the Fundraising here at the Church. It has also been suggested to mail in payments together as a local church if possible. Our goal here at LNC is to help all students who would like to go to have the opportunity to attend this event. So, if you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Join us Wednesday night, June 11th, for our summer kick-off party.
Join us for fun, food, and water slide kickball on June 11th.
This year, we will be playing water slide kickball on a massive tarp that will cover the entire field. We will also have a cookout directly after our water slide kickball game, followed by roasting some marshmallows over a fire.
Students, invite your friends and let’s have a blast and start the summer off right!!!
So, parents, be on the lookout for a supply list for what is needed for the summer kickoff party!!

Hey y’all! Beach Bash is quickly approaching. Beach Bash is a weekend of camping at the River Church of the Nazarene, where we will have games, a time of worship and teaching, and a trip to the beach as a large group. This event begins on the afternoon of Friday, June 20th, and ends on Sunday, June 22nd, after morning worship. This event is a great way to kick off the summer! This is a great event to meet others who will be attending other events that we will be a part of this summer!!
For planning purposes, I need to know who is interested in attending and if your student wants to camp for the weekend or would rather take day trips down each day to the event.
There will be outdoor restrooms and showers with hot water at the Church for the students to use during the event. If we camp, everyone will be staying in a tent during the weekend.

Graduating seniors if you are an active participant in the youth ministry here at LNC you are eligible for this scholarship. Grab a printed out scholarship form in the Elevate room.
