This Wednesday night, October 26th, is our Pumpkin Party! Join us for a costume contest, pumpkin-themed games, and food. This will be happening during our regular Elevate time on Wednesday night. Hope to see you there!
Good afternoon everyone. I just wanted to give you a reminder and an update. I just wanted to remind all of you to get those letters for NYC sent out soon because the next payment is coming up fast. I want to ensure that you all have enough money in your student account to cover the next payment. The following payment of $500 is due on January 10th too LNC. I want to let you know that we have already had several students who have sent out letters for NYC, and they have done very well on their fundraising. Please let me know if you need more letters.

Hello, Elevate! I hope you all are enjoying the cool weather. Now that it is officially Fall, we are getting ready for our annual Fall Party at the Jesters’. Come on out for food, fun, and games. Dress Warm and let’s have some fun and don’t forget to bring a friend.
We will meet at the Church at 6:00 PM on October 22nd to go to the Jesters, or you can meet us there. Please let us know if you are planning on driving your selves there. If you are meeting us there, please ensure that you have a ride home because we may not have room in the van if you do not come with us.

The All Shore Gathering is this Saturday! We will meet at the church at 5:30pm and be back around 9:00pm. Hope to see you there!
*Make sure to wear a bathing suit and bring a towel; we will be playing Slip and Slide Kickball!
Elevate is happening tonight from 7:00-8:30! Doors open @ 6:30 PM! We are welcoming new 7th graders tonight, and it’s our 90’s party!
Also, following Elevate is the Fall Parents’ meeting at 8:30 PM in the Underground.

This Wednesday is our 90’s and welcome party for our incoming 7th graders!
To all of our 7th graders, we look forward to meeting all of you and welcoming you to Elevate!
Here are a few major Elevate updates and what will happen here at LNC for Youth Ministry.
1. Below, you will find the Fall Elevate Schedule with all of our events.
2. We will have a Parent’s meeting following Elevate this next week, September 7th, at 8:30 PM in the parent meeting. We will be covering the following things:
– The new Fall Schedule for 2022.
– I will also have new permission slips for you as parents to sign for the Fall and Winter of 2022.
– What our teaching focus will be in Elevate for the fall and winter.
– Several updates for NYC 2023 for you as parents. These updates will include an up-to-date number for what your student has in their NYC account. The upcoming payments and registration deadline, as well as some more fundraising opportunities that we are having for your students.
So, parents, please be present for this parent meeting on September 7th at 8:30 PM after Elevate.
We are changing the location of the mini golfing course that we will be playing at tonight. We will be going to Old Pro on 68th Street in OC! We will meet at the church at 6:30 and leave by 6:45. Cost is $13 cash per person. We will return to church by 9:30 pm. We will update you as parents on our return time to the church.

We will be meeting at the church August 12th at 3:00 PM to head to the River Church of the Nazarene. We will be leaving around 3:30 PM.
The cost for the event is $20

We will keep you as parents up to date on our estimated arrival time back to the church if we come home early.
This weekend is our Elevate Beach Day. August 6th, we will meet at the Church at 9:45 AM and leave the Church to head to the Beach at 10:00 AM.
· Lunch: Students are to bring their own lunch money.
▪ Rules for lunch and going to the Boardwalk:
▪ Three students to a group for lunch or to go to the Boardwalk.
▪ Students must stick together in groups of three if they get lunch without an adult in their group. If your student is found by themselves and refuses to remain in a group of three, I would like to reserve the right to call you as parents to come to pick them up from the Beach.
▪ I will inform the students of this rule leading up to the beach day and the day of. My goal is to keep your students safe as well as have fun.
§ We will leave the Beach down in OC to go to Fenwick for a bonfire at 5:00 – 9:00 PM. We will be having dinner at the bonfire.
§ We will be returning to the Church at 10:00 PM.
§ You can pick your students up early if you would like, but we will be returning to the Church)
